 ICCS iWatchDog Consumer Complaints

All ICCS licensees have agreed to acknowledge consumer complaints and report back to consumers with a clear account of their findings in a manner agreed upon by the consumer and licensee no later than 30 days from the notification to the Licensee of the alleged violation.

We have taken the position to mediate any and all complaints.  When a user and Licensee attempt resolution directly, often times it becomes more of a difficulty.  The difficulty arises due to the fact that we are human beings and it is our nature to tend to allow our emotions to govern our action rather than our logic.  If possible, we seek a mutual and rapid resolve to the issue being addressed.  While we will strive our hardest to resolve your issue quickly, we cannot always guarantee you will be 100% satisfied.  We will handle the matter within the scope of appropriate laws and regulations in a prompt and legal manner.  We must remain neutral to the best of our ability and simply provide a manner in which to resolve the matter in a prompt and ethical fashion.

  • The iWatchDog Complaint Form

The iWatchDogcomplaint form is the UFCWS tool is designed primarily for reporting violations of ICCS certified web sites, products, services, privacy policies, specific concerns pertaining to ICCS Web site licensees, or misuse of the ICCS Certification trademark. In actuality, the iWatchDogcomplaint form is used to handle virtually any form of complaint a consumer may have.  If the issue is NOT within the realm of the iWatchDog program capabilities, it will be turned over to http://www.webpolice.org for qualified investigation and prosecution if necessary.

It is very important that BEFORE you file an iWatchDog complaint form, that you try to resolve the matter on your own, (if possible).  There are of course, situations that should be directed to our attention immediately, such as offensive content, any form of risk to a child or family member, or illegal use of personal information of a user.  If the Web site does not resolve your complaint satisfactorily, then we suggest you submit a iWatchDog complaint form.
